O@tM: 2 Girls 1 Cup

Who hasn’t heard about this internet penomenon yet? Who hasn’t overheard movie critics talking with hushed voices in dark alleyways about this very undergroundy, educational movie and its presence among the all-time great cinematic masterpieces?

Well, Orca being your trusted girl for stupid stunts, was taking one for the team again and searched, found and … watched this fabled piece of underground film art. And, yes, it was exactly as good as she expected it to be. But have a looksee for yourself:

What is Two Girls One Cup ?

Two girls one cup (aka 2 girls 1 cup & cup video) is a trailer that was released in 2007 for the artistic film “Hungry Bitches” made by MFX Media. The daring work of art is an allegory for the concept of spiritual awakening. It examines the prevalent ideologies that are internalized in our culture, and in true post-modern form; the thematic piece tends to raise more questions than answers. The philosophical film has varying interpretations, which is why the 2 girls 1 cup film is still analysed and debated about to this date.

Just so you know, this is a philosophical film of highest caliber and set off many debates and analyses.

As we’ve seen by now, this ain’t your usual run-of-the-mill Hollywood-caca but the real thing! 😮 Great effort by the main characters, giving us all they had to give!

Orca’s still debating with herself if she’s found any spiritual awakening while watching this tour de force of bold independent filmmaking. So indeed 2G1C raised more questions than answers. I guess this was the intended effect of 2G1C: To raise pressing societal questions and where the individual finds its place in the everchanging landscape of humanity. What’s not to love about the strikingly convincing interpretation of this conceptually very daring piece of art?

Such loveliness. It’s totally understandable the girls had to throw up at the thought of this movie’s impending ending.

Of course we noticed some technical imperfections and production mishaps, but isn’t a thoroughly calculated margin of errors an obligatory part of modern art?

CONCLUSION: What impressed me particularly was the atmosphere of giving throughout the runtime of the whole movie. An aspect of the “Two Girls”, which was perfectly interpreted by the cast members. We could really feel the sharing spirit between the two of them. One could sense the literal Commies Under the Bed. Bravo for such great acting!

We rate Two Girls One Cup A+.

  7. I can’t seem to find it! I was Googling it and most of the links were inactive. If I find it again, I’ll post it here. Basically, it’s a compilation of people mutilating their own genitals in different ways (for pleasure).
