I never understood this fascination people have with celebs, and particularly monarchs. Don’t we all have our own lives to live and to worry about? And good ol’ Lizzy? Girl was 96 ffs! She lived a good long live, never experienced a day of existential threat and her only problems were with some unruly family members.

I like all the ceremony of the monarchy. I’m interested in ceremonies in general.
I pay even less attention to their politics and personal battles than I do to local celebs. Except all the Diana stuff – that was always interesting and I still think Charles is a dick and Camilla is a homewrecker.
But being so near Hollywood, I’ve grown up with a compulsion to meet celebs when I can – Harry & Megan would be a huge personal score.
