Let me make this clear right away: Mint users are doing fine and have nothing to fear! Ok?
For all other Ubuntu and Ubu-based distro users, watch this:
The Ubuntu package base is being fragmented by the include of Snap packages, and the proprietary system has recently been found to be full of privilege escalation bugs. Is Ubuntu becoming to unstable to be used as a reliable base? Today we talk about this.
#Ubuntu #Snap #Linux
You know what Orca recommends, do ya? Mhm; make your life real easy and finally switch to Manjo ffs! ๐

Looking forward To LMDE 5.

Mhm, we all kinda do. But you know with Debian’s glacerial development speed we can maybe start a new game right now. A new bet: What’ll appear first, Debian 12 or a new album by Tool?
Last time Tool won when they, in 2019, after 13 years of break, released Fear Inoculum shortly before Debian 10 hit the servers. Who cares if both developments have nothing that connects them apart from a handful Linux/music nerds? This is now the official bet, which was won in the next round by Debian 11, which appeared much too early. Like as if they were going on a regular release cycle or sumfink. ๐ฎ
But honestly, I’ve got not the faintest idea about when LMDE 5 will come out.

Mmmmm, sounds good. Dunno why I’m still so happy for all the things Debian. I don’t use that shit, never really have, being an Archer from earliest n00b days. But still somehow is Debian near and dear to my heart. Maybe because it’s exactly the opposite of Arch? Dunno …
