So let’s jump right into this interesting video by our good old friend Joe Collins. It’s already over a year old and I have no clue how it managed to escape my attention but I just watched it again and noted it’s not terribly outdated but the info is still usable. Gnome3 is still as geeky and unfriendly to housewifes as at the time of Joe’s review and Mate is still as cuddly and sweet and as useful as a Swiss Army knife. XFCE is for even older people than Mate fraggles and Cinnamon is coming more and more into its own right. And for the rest, the more clever among you, there is KDE or Plasma as the kool kidz say.
