Oubaas Therapy: Koos Created a Monster!

Ya, where did Ouby gogh?

Koos picked me up this morning, so we could check if the truck shop had the amber lights availalable. No, they didn’t. Waitin’ for over a month now. :/ Time to think about plan B and C. Then we went to a perspex shop for the windows in my hitop. With almost no goods in store and much too steep prices we were left wondering what for did those ladies even get up in the morning and opened their store? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Ok, next stop, Koos’ garage:

There he is! Right in Koos’ garage, where he belongs. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Koos, or one of his sons, is building another race car. Cool azurro paintjob, bro. Looks kinda familiar. Okay, as long as they don’t forget they have a paying customer to make happy first and foremost. ๐Ÿ˜
After all the welding the panels look a bit warped. But it’s nothing that can’t and won’t be fixed.
Koos ran into probs with the rearspoiler and turned it into just a sweet little stubby nose. But he’s not finished with that thing anyway.
We just decided to cut two more additional windows into the frontpanel and forego a huge rally-like lighting bar. Will have more natural light in the lounge area, which is more important than a battery of machismo searchlights. ๐Ÿ™‚ I can’t complain about missing any lamps in front of my vehicle anyway, innit?
See how dark the windowless front panel is? This is sposedly a fresh n frenly gurly van, so I wanna have a very light interior.
From the outside the roof will also look much nicer with two small and narrow windows. Will appear optically much lighter, more elegant I hope.
On the way home we stopped at an ATM so I could draw some cash to pay the maid on Tuesday. Used the opportunity to slip into the convenience and bought some sammiches and drinkies. The weekend is saved.
