Oh yeah. In my experience, cats are more known for it cause theirs are frequently in the middle of the night.
I was once at a friend’s house, watching tv with them at 11pm, when they suddenly yelled, “DUCK!” Their kitten got nightly 11pm zoomies that included running across the back of the sofa, regardless of whether it was occupied.

Mhm, I can imagine that. “Must zoom across the back of sofa, must not be stopped by anything.” Katzus can be very focused and goal-oriented while at the same time being totally antisocial asswipes.
