Taxi strike shuts down CT highway, passengers jump out of bus windows to flee chaos
Hundreds of taxi operators shut down the N2 inbound into Cape Town on March 24 2022 as part of a planned protest against impounding of their vehicles and the alleged unfair requirements of releasing impounded vehicles. Three Golden Arrow buses were set alight and passengers were forced out of operating buses during the protest.
Too bad. I wanted Koos to get me to his workshop yesterday, so we could look at things but he couldn’t even leave the little industrial area since the restless natives were throwing stones at all mobilists. ๐ฎ
