Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

Want my honest opinion? The first one, the original avatar, wasn’t a great movie. A bit too much copypasted from other – better – movies, old story, silly dialogues and super predictable plot without any twists or surprises. Dances with Wolves – in Space! =^.^=
With that out of the way, the new one bored me already with the kitschy pseudo-romantic trailer. 😦 And have you seen how many screenwriters, aside from James Cameron, they used? Film-making by committee. And don’t we all know that’s never a good sign?

Mhm, that’s right Rachel. First one wasn’t a great movie but very spectacular to watch and partly nailbiting fun. But if I’m already falling asleep during the trailer I don’t have high hopes for the new one.
