Important question. Really. We all know how great Mint is – and obviously ~98.63% of my readers are using it. Innit? Right? But there is still the one decision to take: Installing the standard Ubuntu based version, or maybe better switch to the Debian-based LMDE version.
I would chose LMDE, but that’s just me. Maybe this video will help you in your decision … if you can understand German. And who doesn’t? 😉

Beide werden aktiv gepflegt und erhalten somit den gleichen Applikationslayer von Linux Mint. Also alle Goodies aus dem Hause Linux Mint. In diesem Beitrag versuchen wir diese hausinterne Konkurrenzsituation aufzulösen und eine klare Antwort auf die Frage zu geben, ob man die normale Linux Mint Ausgabe nehmen soll oder vielleicht doch besser mit LMDE bedient ist.
