No, not really. Beauty isn’t only skindeep with this old van. And neither is it always visible. The rear left panel was welded, sanded down through 3 layers of paint and tons of bodyfilla, and then freshly re-painted. This will now take 20 years or more before it starts to rust again. 🙂

All the stuff the former panelbeater and spraypainter was supposed to do but didn’t. 😦
