One of the heavies has just birthed a new baby: Linux Mint 21!

You may have noticed that even in this – let’s say more Arch focused – blog, in the last couple days the editrix was kinda excited about this upcoming Ubuntu fork.

Why?

Because Linux Mint is the shit! No, not shit but The Shit! For n00bs and for experts, Mint has something for everybody. You can get your work done in easy peasy fashion but you can also totally geek out.

Let’s see what DistroWatch’s release notes say about Minty’s latest daughter:

**The new baby has arrived, all wet and shiny.**

As you can see I copypasted the ranking as well, where Mint, as the sole distro in the Top 5, shows an upwards trend. All the kewl kidz are downloading it nownow! You wanna be a kewl kid too, dontcha?

And why should you download, install and use Linux Mint?

Because you’re worth it! Because Microsoft is already planning their next evil move and because tecno communism actually werkz! 🙂

And because it’s fun. ^.^

  And it’s not Linuxes fault! As we all know the big game manufacturers are just too lazy to port their triple A games over to Linux. And that’s not gonna change anytime soon, if Linux’s marketshare keeps on hovering between 2 – 3%. 😦
  
  But from what I hear the Linux powered Steam Deck is the bees knees, and that gives us hope for the future.
