Defeated by SL. :(

Lost my last nerve, couldn’t stand super fugly Orca no more and …
… switched back into my still beautiful oldstyle avie. And then I wanted to finally use my fancy canal narrowboat (merci again ZZ) for it’s original purpose and drive down the Nautilus City canal. But again SL defeated me since I couldn’t even sail a single meter forwards … or in any other direction. Engine was running, only I couldn’t remember how to get it in gear. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

There ain’t a manual in the boat’s contents. Any of you SL residents have any idea of how to use the simple powerboat engine? Help this old granny out, pleez?

  1. Super fugly Orca: Just wear the shape that came with your head, then adjust that as you like. Old shapes are always fugly.
Narrowboat: Engine is usually say start or stop in local chat. Movement is usually page up/down for gears, or hold and/or tap up and down arrows to go faster and slower.
    That’s all I got ;P

  2. Narrowboats are way too slow for me, lol. I never got even half way through those videos you posted of them. I’ll stick with sailboats or my super speedy wake board pulling speedboat ๐Ÿ™‚

    • IRL I could imagine spending a short, say 2 weeks, vacation on a narrowboat. Coz it’s so different from real sailing but more like a -… lifestyle of sorts?
