More Russian Invasion

… or the lack thereof.

Fukn Russkies, is nothing holy for you? The whole western world was waiting for your attack … and you stood us up like wannabe prom queens. And now our feelings are hurt like those of stupid teenage girls. 😦

It would’ve been kinda satisfying if this was the Russians trolling NATO. But now it’s even more satisfying to see that NATO and the whole western polit-elite has trolled itself. =^.^=

To quote the Goddess: “Humiliated and destroyed without a single shot fired.”

The US wished they could swap Psaki for Zakharova

  1. Speculation from John Hinderaker ‘n me: “Who’s Wagging Whose Dog?”

Three Stooges – Biden, Boris Johnson, and Macron are all in desperate need of trying to look good in front of their voters (*SNICKER* snort!).

“Vladimir Putin, by far the most secure of these four leaders, will benefit as long as Russia gets something out of its mobilization of troops at the Ukraine border. Putin is popular because he is seen as a strong leader, but no leader’s popularity is enhanced by soldiers being killed. So, Putin gets the best of both worlds if he takes an aggressive position, mobilizes troops and threatens war, but then achieves Russia’s ends by peaceful means. And, of course, he avoids sanctions that could threaten Russia’s creaky economy.” – However, after Afghanistan, Russians are not ready to see more of their troops dying.

Then there is the Ukraine who will need to “suspend its efforts to join Nato to avert war.”

Guess what? “No voter in the U.S., the U.K. or France will care that Ukraine has agreed to stay out of NATO. This is an easy win-win.”

Now, what else will Putin want besides Ukraine staying out of NATO? Another annexation? Maybe Eastern Ukraine this time? What will Ukraine’s government have to say about that?

“Call me cynical, but I think we may soon know the answer to that question. Or possibly some seemingly unrelated concession to Putin is on the table. But I think the congruence of political interests among the relevant leaders is too strong for war to be the most likely option.”

Saber Rattling…wid Ukraine getting repeatedly raped if they don’ stand up and force a fight.

Peace and quiet and the NATO as far away as possible … as promised in the early nineties.

“sanctions that could threaten Russia’s creaky economy.”
That’s the least thing they fear. So far Russia always came out of those sanctions stronger and better. EU/US feels the sanctions much more negatively than Russia. Quite the contrary, the west woke a sleeping bear and the bear now orients itself even more eastwards, making a strong alliance with China. Also Putin’s successors and Russia’s youth are moving away from western “ideals” and becoming more patriotic and hostile each day.

To be brutally honest: The Russians had it with us! They tried to play nice and made lots of concessions for long enough now and all they got in return was shit. So they are again finding out they are better off alone or in alliance with the East.

You fear Putin now? That fair and intelligent man who always stays true to his word? I can’t wait to see how the west will react to Putin’s successor. 😮

“Then there is the Ukraine who will need to “suspend its efforts to join Nato to avert war.”
Who cares? Those fascists tried to snuggle up to the west but, in typical fashion, the west let them fall. I guess Selensky and Putin were in negotiations the whole time. Probably the Ukraine promised not to send their thugs into the Donbass and as trade-off the Russians won’t cut Ukraine out of the gas supply. Or sumfink like that.

““No voter in the U.S., the U.K. or France will care that Ukraine has agreed to stay out of NATO. This is an easy win-win.””
Yes, indeed. Buuuut who cares about voters? It’s the fukn govts that need to find peace.

“what else will Putin want besides Ukraine staying out of NATO?”
Nothing. He’s not an American, has no hegemonial dreams. Russia accepted Ukraine breaking off, and that’s it. Until the CIA pulled the Maidan stunt and supported the nazi movement in Ukraine.

      “Maybe Eastern Ukraine this time?”
Nope! The majority of Russian citizens in eastern Ukraine get Russian passports if they want to come over but Russia will leave the donets basin untouched. Only in case of bloody attacks and suppression of Russians in Ukraine will Russia react. And that may very well spell an end to the whole Ukraine.

“possibly some seemingly unrelated concession to Putin”
And what will that be? As we slowly and reluctantly find out in the west, Russia doesn’t want/need every day a bit less off us. If the EU wants to freeze in Winter, so be it. China will buy all the Russian gas, so nothing to worry. And we know the Americans are buying Russian gas as well. In America they turn it into liquefied gas and sell it back to the EU … and Ukraine too. No matter what hyper nationalistic politicians decide, we will always buy Russian gas. Just more complicated and far more expensive.

      “Ukraine getting repeatedly raped”
      They don’t deserve anything less.

“if they don’ stand up and force a fight.”
Which will be their terminal fuck!

    • Yes, indeed! As long as the rape-victims are balaclava-wearing neo-nazi thugs. I won’t touch them with a 10′ pole but I can imagine in eastern Ukraine and Russia you’ll find many volunteers for that unsanitary job.
