Not a thousand but I guess we mostly have 4 to 5 of those mini crocs inside the house and even more outside, in the backyard. They are practical since they prey on moschies and flies and other insects. But they leave their droppings everywhere and are just, like you said, Eeeeeeeeek!!
Like 2 years ago I went into our kitchen and found 4 of them, not on the wall where they belong, but on the floor tiles! ๐ฎ And I always thought geckos spend their whole lifes on the ceiling/wall. But no, they just walk in through the door. And they are fuxn speedy if needs be. That’s indeed a bit much for my northern upbringing and taste.
