Just saw a very levelheaded comment about Cowboy Bebop, which is worth a view:
Cowboy Bebop is swiftly approaching. I’ve seen it early and can tell you it’s the best live-action anime adaptation I’ve ever seen. That’s not to say it’s perfect, but there are far more hits than misses.
Randy filmed this a couple days before the premiere, that’s why he isn’t spoiling anything. He views the Netflix adaptation as a remix and same as I he thinks it’s good that Netflix didn’t try to do a 1:1 remake of the anime show. Rarely ever had I so much fun watching broken people trying to carry the weight. I guess with the added dimension of live action it becomes almost spookingly real. As silly as it sounds in a sci-fi show. 😉
