Race Day 41 with Bandit 22LTE at Saint Aubrey

Lisa, Lucy, Amy, Sea, Nicci, Ella, Erica, Lalia, Rugger, Flapio, Moon and LeC came yesterday for our reversed course 1 and wind from South East and 21knots.
Rolling Restarts on Main Channel gave us mostly good conditions. But we had like always personal issues. Lalia had lots of lag over nearly the whole course. Ella’s screen went blue right after prestart began and started nearly 90sec after the others. Moon got stopped on 3 sim crossings during the race to 0 knots. This is not the viewer stop with a laggy crossing. The boat gets really stopped to 0 and has to gain speed again.

I realized too late that Noe had to go back to RL and with trying to help Ella and her issues during the prestart i forgot to take a little video of the start.
But what i saw and remember was a very close start of nearly all. Lisa, Nicci, Lucy, Sea, Rugger, LeC and Erica started within 6sec. Flapio, Moon and Amy followed only a bit later in a second group, Lalia already lagging much later and Ella with her relog at the end of the fleet.
Lisa, Lucy and Sea took the advantage out of their great starts and arrived at buoy CS 1., 2., and 3.

at buoy CS: LeC, Erica, Nicci, Moon, Flapio and Amy following the first 3
at buoy CN: 1. Lisa, 2. Lucy, 3. Sea

On the second leg to buoy CN Amy started to pass Flapio and the rest of the group with the better inside position at buoy CN.

at buoy CN, 4. Amy, 5. Flapio, 6. Nicci, 7. Moon, 8. Erica

On the following downwind to buoy IS Amy caught up with Sea, passed her and could sail away a bit. Moon passed the rest of the group and caught up with Sea.

the downwind leg to buoy IS

The further legs to buoy OW via buoy IN Moon got his bad crossing and fell back a bit again. Amy sailed slowly away from the chasing group. Rugger passed a lot of boats was now already 5. after Sea.

After buoy OW waited a very long upwind leg with a lot of options to tack earlier or later. All sailors tried the different options and crossed their lines several times quite close on the way. But all went fine and fair.

4. Rugger

Sea passed Moon again.

Lalia fell because of here really laggy crossings along the course back to the end of the fleet.
