Sanja, Izi, Ella, Lucy, Amy, Ester and Kaeda joined me yesterday on our courses 1 and 2 with wind from South and 25knots. Lag hit us temporarily and differently during the two races but fortunately all finished.

Ester, Izi, Ella and me started in the first race within 2sec, Sanja, Amy and Lucy only a bit behind and Kaeda in her first race with the windsurfer a bit later.
During the first lap i had Ella, Izi and Sanja short in front of me and Lucy just in my neck.

Still the same story in the second lap.

But in the second lap Lucy started her turbo and did i think with 4:44min her best lap ever on this course. Amy and Ester followed us a bit later.
Sanja passed Ella and me on the last 25m and won the race. Congrats Sanja.
Ella, Lucy, me and Izi followed Sanja only a wink later and we 4 finished within 2sec.

Amy and Ester followed a bit later and Kaeda on in her first race at the end.

The second race was nearly as close as the first and that with a more difficult course.

Here an example on mini map of how close our races were most of the time:

Ester, Ella, me, Izi, Lucy and Amy started within the first 6sec followed by Kaeda with a little sleepy start.
We first 6 stayed very close together until the middle up the upwind leg.

Then the fleet spread a little bit. Sanja and i could sail a bit away in front, but the others stayed quite close together behind us.
Sanja just passed me on the line by just a blink and won the second race as well. Only the line knows how long the blink was.

Behind us Izi, Ella, Lucy, Amy and Ester finished close lined up.

First congrats to Sanja to win both of these really close races, second to Kaeda who did really well in her first races on the Windsurfer after just a bit more of one week sailing it and finally to all others for fair and very exciting duels.
