Taking Some Jabs At Windows 11

Not that I really care but I’ve heard that Win11 opens up a whole new can of problem worms for its poor victims users:

Windows 11: You aren’t alone in your hesitation.

Is it just me or are these the end-times for Windows on end user machines? Are they really trying to polish a turd and beating a dead horse? What for?

But what I’m really interested in is to find out are there indeed still some of my readers using Microsoft products or am I preaching to the choir? Let me know guys and guysines, what drives you, what made you use Windows, how does your mind work, what went wrong in your childhood?

If you’re being held captive in some dark basement on the Microsoft campus, give us a secret hint and we’ll send a retrieval team to bust you out! If you think you can cope with self-help there are proven methods as well.

It’s never too late to become a better person! 🙂

  1. I have Windows 10 on my work computer and my main desktop at home. I paid for it so will keep it at least until 2025 when support runs out. Also it works very well for Second Life 🙂

    • Works well for SL? Only if you’re a user of LL’s own viewer, which is only a small minority, and only since LL never managed to produce a Linux viewer on their own. 🙂 The most-used SL viewer, Firestorm, comes with a nifty Linux version, even a version for Arch/Manjaro, which you can install from the AUR.

Command is very simple: yay firestorm

I mean I’m off Win since Win7 so I have no idea what it’s like today. But I hear no good things about it.
