Lisa, Ella, Lucy, Amy (with crew Ester), Nicci, Sea, Erin, Moon and Rugger came yesterday to our reversed B22 course and wind from South West and 21knots.
NOE did a very nice video about Saint Aubrey yesterday and it gives you an awesome flight around the Club:
The weather conditions were actually smooth for most yesterday after the rolling restarts with some local rain showers. Erin had issues again and crashed.
Sea lagged several times as at the start as well and sailed at the end of the fleet.
Nicci caught a bit south of buoy ON some very strange sim crossings. I watched that she stopped at crossings and had to accelerate from Zero again and she sat strange on the boat as if animations were temporarily broken. Looked like that happened on 2-4 sims and so she lost her second place after sailing her best race ever so far and fell back to nearly the end of the fleet.

Nicci, Rugger, Ella, Lisa, Erin and Moon started within 10sec and pretty close together on the first upwind leg. Amy and Lucy a bit behind them ann Sea with her lag at the end.

Nicci extended her lead on the second leg to buoy CN and third leg to buoy IS against Lisa and Moon. Lisa had a great duel on the upwind leg to buoy IS and passed him slowly, inch by inch on the lee side of Moon.
Ella and Amy caught up with Rugger and passed him as well on the upwind leg to buoy IS.
Lucy and Erin followed Rugger

On the following short downwind leg to buoy IN and the following upwind leg to buoy OW Nicci still managed to stay in the lead, but Lisa had started her chase for Nicci and got closer inch by inch.

On the following reach and later downwind leg Nicci, Lisa and Moon grew together. Lisa passed Nicci and Nicci managed to stay in front of Moon.

After Nicci sailed awesome so far sl decided to slow her down with first some laggy crossings which let her sail too far North and later then with stopping her at 1-4 crossings.

What a bad luck for the poor Nicci, but she continued brave and caught up later with Amy and Lucy again.
On the last upwind leg to buoy CS Lisa and Ella took the southern route to buoy CS, while all others went more northern after buoy OE.
It was the right decision for Lisa and Ella. Lisa extended her lead and Ella passed Moon on this leg and arrived about 30m before Moon at buoy CS.
Rugger could pass Amy and Lucy again on that upwind leg.

We saw yesterday again lots of exciting duels, position changes and awesome sailing.
My hero of yesterday is Nicci. She sailed her best race ever, didn’t make a mistake and only sl slowed her down very much. I know how frustrating this is and i am so proud of her she didn’t give up and finished.
