Sanja, Lucy, Ella, Ella, Amy, Izi and Justin joined me yesterday on our new course 4 and 3 with wind from North East and 25 knots.
The weather conditions were actually pretty fine. The two crashes we had (Ella in first race and Izi in second race) were disconnects and those happen in all kind of conditions randomly.

Sanja, Lucy, Amy, Izi and Ella started close together followed a bit later by Ester and Justin and me yesterday at the end. They were all too far away already to get a good video of the start.
I started my chase and came a little closer on the first and second leg to buoy IS to see some of them already.
With my slow internet it took a while until the video was uploaded. This happened right in the moment when i tried to turn around buoy IS and it means that my firestorm window is not the main window and my keyboard clicks don’t find the the way into SL. I took me a couple of seconds to realize that and in this time my board went straight and i hit Justin.
Somewhere far in the front were Sanja and Izi having an exciting duel which i could see by their dots on minimap. I was catching up with Amy on the way to buoy CN. We saw Ella, Ester and Lucy having another exciting duel.
On the downwind leg to buoy CS i could pass Amy and Ester, but my butt hit the buoy CS during the turn and slowed me down a lot. Amy and Ester could pass me again. On the following high speed leg to buoy IS and on the final leg to the finish line i could pass Amy again, but Ester and Lucy were too far away.
Congrats to Sanja for her win, 2. Izi, 3. Lucy, 4. Ester, 5. Amy and 6. Justin (sorry no time for finish pictures)
Lucy, Sanja, Amy and Izi started best in second race and Justin, Ester, Amy and me a little later as a second close group.
Sanja and Izi went in front again and started another exciting duel until SL decided to take out Izi this time by disconnect. Sanja alone in front sailed away from all meter by meter and finished miles ahead of us all first and won her second race yesterday.
I could pass Justin quite fast after the start and started to chase Amy, Ester and Ella. On the long leg between buoy CS and IN i had them in front of me.
On the following downwind leg to buoy IS i could pass Amy and Ester, but i saw only the USB mark of buoy IS, which disappeared when i came close to it. Unfortunately the buoy IS didn’t rez for me and i tried to remember where the USB mark was. I can say i found the buoy… frontal. It stopped me to zero and took me a bit to get moving again. In the meantime Amy and Ester passed me again.
But i could catch up with them again going around buoy OW and came slowly closer on the long leg to buoy CN.
On the upwind leg to buoy ON i could pass Amy, Ester and Ella and catch up close with Lucy. I could manage to turn between Lucy and buoy ON, leaned against her board a bit and then we sailed side by side the last leg to the finish line. I was fortunately on the inside, had the shorter line to the finish line and so i could pass Lucy just before the line.
Congrats to Sanja for her win, 2. Lucy, 3. Ella, 4. Ester, 5. Amy and 6. Justin (sorry no time for finish pictures again).

We saw as always even already on these new courses exciting duels and position changes again.

It is clear that I was very slow in turning, I almost parked letting you catch me; It was more my fault than yours π
