Lisa, Amy, Lucy, Ella, Nicci, Erin, Juicy and Moon came yesterday for our normal B22 course with wind from South West and 21knots. The weather was actually fine yesterday for most. Only Juicy crashed being second in the middle of the race and Moon later also being second about 3 sims before the finish line.

At the start Lucy realized that she will be over early and did an extra circle just before the line. That gave Lisa, Juicy and Ella the chance to win the start. Nicci, Moon and Lucy started a bit later followed by Amy and Erin at the end.
Right after the start Ella found the best line and speed, passed Juicy and sailed a bit away from Lisa. Same did Amy with Moon, passed him on the upwind leg and sailed away from him.

Lisa passed Juicy as well and caught up with Ella at buoy CS.
Her turns around buoys are the best and if you wanna see how you can win a position or some meters watch her turns. She used her turn to pass Ella at buoy CS and start the downwind leg to buoy OE first.

On the following downwind leg to buoy OE Lisa started her turbo and sailed away from Ella, who was in an exciting duel with Juicy. Behind them Amy sailed away a bit from Moon and Lucy, and Nicci were having her private duel watched by Erin.

On the following upwind leg to buoy CN Ella lost her speed. Moon could pass her.

Amy did an eytra tack to get a better line to buoy CN. During this Nicc and Lucy passed her.

On the following downwind to buoy ON Lisa sailed more away from the fleet and Juicy from Moon

The fleet spread out on the following upwind leg. Some used more the western route to the south and the others more the eastern route.

Ella was still searching for her former speed and nearly caught by Erin.

Short before Degrand Island a sim crossing ate Juicy’s boat and he had to leave the race unfortunately. It was his best race ever so far he sailed at St Aubrey. What a shame.

It seemed that Ella found her speed back and caught up with Lucy.

On the downwind/upwind legs to buoy IS Amy started to chase Moon and Nicci, Ella and Lucy grew close together and reached parallel buoy IS
Lucy with the better line to buoy IS could pass Ella who did the same with Nicci.

Lucy managed to sail a bit away from Ella, who was chased by Nicci.
Amy tried hard to catch up with Moon. But he stayed in front of her until he crashed about 2-3 sims before the finish line. What a shame.

Congrats to Lisa for her great win, shame that Juicy and Moon crashed when being second in the race and thank to all others for exciting and fair duels along the whole race.
