Race Day 24 with Bandit 22LTE at Saint Aubrey

Lisa, Lucy, Ella, Amy, Nicci, Rugger and Moon came yesterday for our reversed course and wind from north west and 21knots. The weather conditions on the course were ok and only 3 or 4 crashed after the finish line when crossing the boarder to the marina. But after a quick relog they came all back for the after race beer.

The start looked quite normal. Only Nicci messed it up a bit. She didn’t realized at the start that her USB showed the first buoy and not the start line. Result was she missed the line by a lot and she had to turn around and start properly.
Lisa took the lead with the best start followed by Rugger, Moon, Ella, Lucy and Amy and the poor Nicci a lot later.

On the first leg Lisa, Moon and Ella sailed closer to the wind than Rugger, Lucy and Amy, which seemed to be faster.

  1. Great Race and many many congrats to Nicci for her lap time after her unlucky start, Congrats also to Ruggero and Moon and let me be happy for the first (at least for me) time that two italian spins crosed the line first and second … Well done all and wow Bianca 24 races already ….
