You know I happily divorced from Microsoft and their OS in 2013, when it was Windows 7, a pretty nice system. Since then all I’ve seen from Windows have been screenshots. Oh, and some self-confident announcements about how great and ultra modern Win10 is … and how it’s the last Windows ever and will only be tweaked on a rolling basis (like ArchLinux).
Anyhoo, obviously they were lying, coz lately I hear rumours about a new Windows version, Windows 11. And indeed a redesigned version was leaked, and our friend Gardiner Bryant got his fingahz on it and gave it a test run.

Oh my, what a terrible shit. 😮 I mean, ok, this is just an early alpha- or beta version but still. The amount of incoherent, useless and fugly UI shittery is staggering! Microsoft, are you in the desktop business only since this morning?
Did I mention already that my divorce from Microsoft was a happy one? 🙂

You can bet it’s more and more subscription based software. They already charge for gimp in the MS store.
