“Installing Linux Is Hard” | Linux Myth Busters #1

Mörnsen, nÖÖbz

Our always excited and überfrenly Jason, of the Linux for Everyone channel, just started a new series:

Linux Myth Busters

And here is the first video of that series, and it’s even kinda helpful for when you wanna start your Linux journey and don’t know how:

So you want to switch to Linux? Or maybe run it alongside Windows? Great idea! But you’ve probably heard things that scared you away like “installing Linux is hard.” Is it really true?

Pfff. You know Orca gave you better instructions already years ago, only not as frenly and optimistic and positively energetic and shit and fuk. So go ahead, listen to him babble, and try to filter the sparse useful info out.

And don’t use any of his links to stupid Ubuntu-based freshmen distros, like …

Ubuntu: https://ubuntu.com

Pop OS: https://system76.com/pop

Deepin: https://www.deepin.org/en/download/

Better use this minty (and also Ubuntu-based) link instead: https://linuxmint.com/

Link you really need tho: Balena Etcher: https://www.balena.io/etcher/

Welcome to the exciting world of Linux! 🙂
