The rolling restarts during the day blew the clouds away and we had overall smooth conditions.
Lisa, Amy (with crew Ester), Erin, Nicci, Ella, Shadow (with crew Jess), Moon, Rugger and Flapio came yesterday for our reversed course and wind from South East with 21knots.
Flapio hit the dangerous cross between first and second buoy and retired and Shadow in her first race with us gave up after she did some wrong turns on the course.
The fleet at the briefing. Flapio came short before the start and is missed on the picture and in Hakiria’s close up video)
It seems as if the northern half of the start line didnt rez for Hakiria. But be sure i saw the line and all crossed it. The only thing we cant show is that Ella crossed the line just 0.1-0.2sec too early and had to come back for her restart.
Lisa, Erin, Amy and Rugger started best followed by Nicci, Flapio and Moon. Shadow in her first race started slow and Ella followed the fleet after her restart
Lisa arrived first at the first buoy CS chased by Amy. Erin and Rugger followed them just a bit behind.
Amy chased the whole race Lisa and didnt give her any relaxed moments and finished in the end only 20sec behind Lisa.
Behind the two leaders Erin, Rugger, Moon and Nicci had a exciting duel with several position changes on their long fast leg to buoy OW. See some of them in Hakiria’s video
Lisa arrived first at buoy OW,
followed by Amy and Erin (unfortunately no picture),
Rugger and Nicci
and Ella still trying to catch up with the fleet
Erin, Moon and Rugger started an exciting upwind duel on the way back to buoy ON
and the kept close together
Lisa arrived first at buoy ON
still chased by Amy
followed by the 3 musketeers Erin, Moon and Rugger
Nicci followed them a bit later
and Ella at the end of the fleet still trying to catch up
On the following leg to buoy CN Moon passed Erin and poor Rugger was pulled of the boat. He came back and continued, but fell back behind Ella.
On the upwind leg between buoy CN and OE see Lisa, Amy, Moon and Erin in Hakiria’s video
and they arrived in that order at buoy OE to start their downwind leg to buoy CS (video by Hakiria)
Nicci short before Ella at buoy OE
and Rugger short behind Ella
Ella still trying hard to catch up with Nicci on the downwind leg to buoy CN.
While these two were on their way to CN the 4 leaders started already the last upwind leg to the finish line (video by Hakiria)
Erin tried hard to catch up with Moon again, but Moon could manage to stay in front of Erin at buoy CS and later at the finish
The Finish: 1. Lisa, 2. Amy, 3. Moon, 4. Erin, 5.Nicci, 6. Ella, 7. Rugger (video by Hakiria)

Congrats to Lisa for her win, to Amy in her best B22 race ever at Saint Aubrey and keeping Lisa the whole race on her toes, Moon for a great chase after the start and passing some sailors and Ella for some awesome sailing at the end of the fleet after her messed up start.
