Garden Fence: We’re Completely Walled In Now

Weirdest view ever: Ours and all 3 neighbour gardens at one glance
Then, piece by piece, they put in the divider walls again
4 men for 1 panel
Same crew, different panel
A couple hits with the hammer seals our fate: Byebye neighbours
Yes, I know, that’s no Wimbledon lawn ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
From this perspective it’s a tiny bit better

Our long term plan is to lay an outdoors tiles floor and only keep some distinguished plants in the ground. The rest will be potted plants, like our defunct lemon tree and the bamboo. This way we won’t waste too much water during the next drought.

    • Hubby is totally not in love with the idea. That fukn hippie wants everything to be “au naturel”. In a suburban mini garden in a sandy dune area. Godspeed with that. If he truly wants everything to be natural he should be happy with our garden turning into a sandbox. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Having not the faintest idea nor interest in home and garden stuff I just wanna be over and done with all that shit. In my eyes it’s just wasting money on green nonsense that grows and is provided by mother nature … for free!
I’m most happy in the Namib’s moon-like absence of landscape.

        • ๐Ÿ˜‰ Whatever floats your boat, hun. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m too restless and was never happy staying put in one place for too long. A weekend is more than enough. And now, after 19 years in the same house I feel like stranded and don’t care anymore about anything going on here. I always felt like we’re only looking after out investment until we can sell it to the next owner and can go roam free. It’s a bit hard with hubby and the wheelchair but one can dream, no? My true home is the ocean/road, and what I hate most is waking up in the same place on more than a couple consecutive days. And now … 19 years tied to a place! Oh my. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

“trying to figure out how to get down the road”
Mankind has made some nifty inventions to help you wiff dat: Motorbikes, cars, vans, trucks … vrooom vroom! Why not have some fun before designating your precious riding time to the tedious labour of digging up wildflowers? ๐Ÿ™‚
