  1. I really like the ocean and 37 memes. I used to spend a lot of time thinking “by this age [30] my parents had a 3bdrm house, 2 cars, 18′ trailer, 2 kids, and a dog. Only my dad worked and he made enough for us to take about 5wks vacation every year.” I had an apt, old car, 2 cats, no savings, no vacay time, and no family.

    • Welcome felllow Gen Xer, the first generation ever to have less money, savings, security, spare time, health than our predecessors. 😦

My only consolation: The guys coming after us are not just even more disadvantaged but they are also lame, conservative, mean-spirited, egomaniac, uncreative, badly educated and have no drive and no fun in live.

Yes, even the whitiest whities among us had the groove!

Really? To mingle with the 30 y/o younglings? Baaah. 😮
I stopped some day coz it was not sparking joy anymore … actually never did. But had to be done. So I thought … until some day I found out: No, I don’t have to. Going to the clubs ain’t a must. 😐

When Miss Kitty’s Parlor was open, there was a 65+ couple there a few times.

I don’t worry about mingling… I go to dance and people watch.
