Spoiled Housewife! :(

And it could’ve been so nice. ๐Ÿ˜

You know Debian Linux, right? Ya, that nuke proof unkaputtable Linux OS that is so boring it’s mostly used on servers, on space stations, by professors and by the most chickenshit scaredy cat end users. Orca don’t deal with that shit. And I hope you don’t either. Otoh hey, shit’s better than Ubuntu. But we don’t talk about that either, do we?

But there is a development branch of Debian, called Sid, and it’s semi-rolling and has much newer software compared to its stable branch. I tried that one years and years ago and wasn’t happy with it as far as I recall. But a couple days ago I decided to give it another shot. I rather like LMDE and Sparky Linux, so a rolling release, similar to those two, might be a candidate for my recommendation list.

And here we go …

Downloaded the ISO, put it on USB stick like a gud gurl, put stick in GagaMore and fired up that little office wonder. And failed the install. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

No problem, using Gparted and deleted and formatted the SSD as Ext4, so my DebSid will find a virgin computer to install itself on. Tried again …

Bah humbug!

Whoa! So many reasons why it won’t install? Know what, life is too short to waste it reading geeky shit about why some Linux distros just cannot behave like normal softwares! ๐Ÿ˜

Yes, I know it’s probably my fault. Must’ve done something wrong. Dunno what and don’t care, as I’m admittedly a spoiled brat it is the most possible explanation. But all the other Linuxes don’t ever give a shit about Orca’s sloppyness and install as intended and promised. They are made for human beings and don’t make a fuss. It’s only Debian-based distros who repeatedly appear as anti-social and uncooperative as an American Republican and refuses to get even installed on my hardware.

If you wanna try Siduction, please do so at your own peril. Once you get it installed it surely is the most fancy and fashionable Debian Linux ever. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Please let us people of the blog know about your experience. And as always: Photos … or it didn’t happen! ๐Ÿ™‚
