We had the second Race Day yesterday with Bandit 22LTE at Saint Aubrey on our new course with wind from South East and 21knots this week. Moon, Sea, Lisa, Lucy, Balut, Deacon, Nicole, Rugger, Jenna, Nicci, Juicy and Adeli lined up nicely for the race.
On the stand were Yumiko, Kess and Bull. Hakiria and Victoire followed in a little motorboat and Nathalie by flying.

When you look at the number of boats and the length of the startline you wouldnt believe they will all fit through, but the first 9 boats crossed the line within 7sec and nearly all with full speed, followed by the last 3 a little later…

Jenna, Moon and Adeli arrived first at buoy CS. But unfortunately Adeli lost control for a bit, passed the buoy on the wrong side, managed to cross the fleet without hitting anyone and did the buoy again in the right way. In the meantime most of the fleet passed her and she started a great comeback chase.

On the way to buoy OW Adeli could pass Deacon and Balut and kept 4th position until the finish. Very good comeback from nearly last place after her issue at the first buoy.

We saw 3 sailors in the front (Jenna, Moon and Nicole) who sailed without mistakes and could hold the distance to each other nearly the whole race, Adeli who came back to 4th place after issues at the first buoy and the rest of the fleet having many little duells and position changes during the whole race. Sadly Lisa and Rugger crashed and didnt see the finishline in this exciting race.
