My beautiful babies,
did you watch Mando yesterday? We did. Of course we did. Hubby was always like “Let’s wait and binge it once it’s over”, but cute and sexy me was like “Naw, we can binge it once it’s over but let’s watch the single chapters as soon as they’re out”. And of course we followed my route. Coz I’d watched it anyway since I’m impatient; with or without my man. So he always joins me. 😉
But back on topic: How did you like Season 2 so far? Wanna
hear read what I think? I’ll tell you anyway … Apart from Chapter 10: The Passenger, season 2 is even better than season 1. Or let’s say it’s easier to enjoy the single chapters now that we’re used to The Mandalorian’s a litte bit erratic sequence and succession. As I said, after Chapter 10, which went nowhere, the last two chapters were great. I’d even go as far as stating here Mando shines and was exactly what Star Wars is supposed to be. In Chapter 11: The Heiress, we see none other than the great Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze and WWE wrestling star Sasha Banks as (Koska Reeves (as Mercedes Varnado)) in her acting debut. Hmm, acting debut? What are they doing in the WWE shows other than acting?
A little bit confusing maybe to see Sasha Banks in a mini role as Bo-Katan’s sidekick. Didn’t we all expect her to play Sabine Wren in a chapter when Ahsoka Tano joins in the action – probably in the next chapter. This was still a fantastic episode, which entertained us more than all 3 flicks of the last trilogy combined. This was a full force attack by a team of 4 Mandalorians and they didn’t let us down. They went through stormtroopers like a hot knife thru butter. It was a joy to watch. And kinda funny, too. Empire officers are as stupid as their troopers are bad shooters. 🙂
And, hey SJWs, I don’t ever wanna hear anything about Star Wars needs more female characters. I’ve counted roundabout the same number of dead female stormtroopers as males. And our Mando gang was 2 girls/2 boys. So what gives?
Chapter 12: The Siege sees Din Djarin back on Nevarro, rejoining Cara Dune and Greef Karga in a mission to expel the last holdout empire stormtroopers off the planet. Also in the team our old fishman from Chapter 1, Season 1, Horatio Sanz as an easily duped Mythrol. What a pushover. 🙂
Lots of action, lots of dead troopers again, this is what we watch Star Wars for. Again no sign of the long anticipated Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. But next chapter … she’ll be in it! I betcha a half portion of spotchka. 😉
