Weather conditions mostly sunny with some clouds and little rain. Poor Nicci needed a while after her crash to find her boat again. Thats why i didnt have her on my radar anymore and missed her with any picture. Rugger crashed twice and gave up after the second one.
Nicole with crew Emileigh, Lucy, Julie, Nicci, Sea, Rugger with crew Fanny and Moon came over for some great exciting race fun with wind from South West and 18knots.

The start with South West wind is the most tricky one specially at the Triumphal exit, but as you can see all let enough room and the fleet left TrYC still very close together

The fleet sailed on the upwind leg to buoy 2 still very close together

The fleet started on their fast downwind leg to the Roman boat and arrived that still close together. Lucy lost a little of control and got passed by some sailors.

After buoy 6 Nicole and Lucy passed the Roman boat on its north side and Julie and Moon on its south side. But at the entry to Dunai area they all 4 came close together again. Rugger lost a lot time with his first crash and a little later in Dunai area he gave up after his second crash.

Julie was nearly the whole time leading the race. Unfortunately in Dunai area she got some little issues and was passed by Moon and Nicole.

I didnt know that Nicci still sailed bravely after her crash and tried not to get lost sailing on this course with wind from South West the first time. But she arrived at the dock when we all were already having a beer. Sorry Nicci that i didnt get you on any of the pictures but i love your attitude not to give up and finish. Well done.
