Weather conditions were more or less ok yesterday. Sanja and Lucy (capsized after freeze and board got returned) had issues with the freezing avi, which made them capsizing. I had my classical disconnect crash after i just crossd finishline from North to South.
Lucy, Sanja, Nicole and Walthard joined me on our two Windsurfing courses with wind from South and 21knots.

The first race saw a nearly perfect start of Sanja and Walthard, followed by Lucy, Nicole and me. Walthard and Sanja were leading the rest of the fleet already a bit more until the “freezing Monster” caught Sanja at buoy 2. She lost her good position. Sometimes later Lucy lost her board after trying to fix her frozen avi by resitting on it. Walthard was gone far away and i started to chase Nicole. I could manage to catch and pass her before finish.
Sorry, no Pictures of the first race, because Walthard finished before me and i crashed Right after my own finish. So i missed the others trying to come back again.
In second race Nicole was a bit too early at the line, sailed along it to try to cross in time, but was forced to do a 360° to avoid someone else. We others started all quite ok. Walt and Sanja in front and Lucy and me following them. Again the “freezing Monster” caught Lucy. I could pass Sanja 3 buoys later and started a real exciting hunt for Walthard. Meter for meter i could reduce the distance to him by sailing very close to the limit, passed him at the forth last buoy and managed to stay in front a little until the finishline. Really exciting racing.

We are at the moment a small group of windurfers, but when some others will come back and the ones who are already practicing a lot to join us soon as well, the excitment will increase a lot because of a lot more different duells.
Stay all safe and healthy and see you all next week again in Eki Tropical Island.
hugs and kisses

“disconnect crash after i just crossd finishline from North to South.”
Hmm, maybe, just maybe … can it be our line is too close to Triumphal’s northern border and you were already crashed when crossing the line and only your German connection is too slow to notice the crash in time?
Maybe pull and locate the line more mid-lagoon?

Yes, of course we can’t position the line outside of the sim. Would need to ask LL and find someone competent there. And all they’ll tell you would be to ask MTW first since he’s the speaker of SL Sailing or sumsuch. 😦
BTW, you start any races from the Farragut line? I remember we used to have some courses starting from there. Around Nautilus City and up into Dire Strait n stuff. It’s also an option when the Dunais are laggy.
