Race Day 20 with Bandit 25R at TrYC

The weather conditions were actually pretty good yesterday. Lucy, Nicole, Dahlia, Callie, Yvonne, Candy and Moon joined me on our B25 Course with wind NorthWest 18knots.

Bandit 25R fleet at the briefing

Yvonne had right from the beginning issues with rezzing so she tried but not without much hope because of her connection and well she crashed. Candy has been crashing in races since ages already and we tried all kind of things already, but couldnt find the error yet and shame she crashed in this race again. All others started to an exciting race and finished successful.
I got pulled off the boat during the prestart, had to moor and start again after that and was latest at the start. Dahlia and Callie started nearly perfect followed by the rest of the fleet Pretty close together. I chased the whole fleet, passed first at buoy 2 and the last one at buoy 4. From then i sailed away from all and finished first. Behind me Callie sailed an awesome race until something stopped her to death somewhere before buoy 8 and the others passed her. There was Nothing under the water around her. Maybe it was just someone who editted her boat and stopped her by that. I had experiences with that on Blake already several times.
Lucy, Nicole, Dahlia and Moon had an exciting Foursome nearly along the whole race. They managed to sail away from Moon who is still learning the Details of this boat. After they passed poor Callie they finished all 2 within 11sec follwed a but later by Callie and Moon.
It was one of the more exciting races with B25R we had during this year and i hope we will have again 6-8 maybe even 10 boats for more exciting fun.

Lucy finishing before Nicole
Dahlia finishes short behind
Callie finishes after her weird bad luck
Moon completes the fleet at the finishline

And he is the result from yesterday:

  1. Lucy had 8 boats, you had 8 boats. Are we living in a SL Sailing renaissance? Or is it just because TrYC Race Directrices are the most sexiest in all of SL sailing? Do other yacht clubs even exist anymore?

    LOL! 🙂
