Nicole, Jenna, Lucy, Sea, Yvani, Magalie, Lisa and Moon came to race at TrYC the B25 Course with wind from North West and 18knots and had Nata watching the race.

Lisa got a problem with her boat, wind was why ever suddenly wrong and line didnt register her. Magalie left the race in the first third of the race by a disconnect crash.

The first leg with Code and the second leg with spin went really fast and the boats sailed like on a string of pearls

The long downwind leg between buoy 4 and 5 saw some major changes. Jenna tried to catch up and pass Moon, who didnt want to let her. So the two were caught in a special little duell, which gave Nicole the chance to sail the fast and lonely direct way to buoy 5 away from Jenna and Moon.

The next 2 legs to Dunai area and up north to Dunai West Nicole manage perfectly to stay in front of Moon and Jenna

The race saw several exciting and interesting duells and waether conditions were more on the sunny than stormy side.

8 racers, only 1.5 crashes. Methinks LL’s new tricky trick works out quite fine. After over 17 years they finally managed to solve one of SL’s oldest problems. Those dumfux. 😮 And no need to move to the cloud. 🙂
Lisa’s problem is quickly solved. Delete the boat! Really, delete that riff raff and all its copies! Don’t rerez but rez a new one from the original box. It’s the only solution for script errors.

with the new crossings we get lots of script error for cam and animations, seems to be a timing Problem but not boat specific. In all boats the same script errors. I have submitted a ticket for that already and wait for answers.
And yes Lisa got a totally fresh copy now. Seems to be a weird Problem just for her… Shit happens sometimes

Oh yes, many problems in SL are irreproducible, since therev are so many things that can go wrong on both sides, servers and clients’.
For example it’s clearly visible in your photos that you are on a slow connection. Either that or Lucy sits permanently on the wrong side of the boat. 😮

Lucy as brasilian is usually driving on the wrong side. like brits do in cars.

Not sure either, sorry. 😐
Who are you, where are you coming from, what brought you here? Are you in Second Life or some other virtual world? Are you in AR?
I can tell you Second Life (SL) is mostly user-created virtual world. And in that world, some of us are using a user-made physical weather system to propel our sailboats. And the sailing community used to be one of the bigger and most active communities in SL with a lively racing and yacht club scene. We had our own magazine and forums and even for a while weekly live streamings of races.
If you wanna know more about SL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Life
Join us (for free): https://secondlife.com/
And it’s not only about sailing. There are many roleplay communities and fighting communities from warplanes, warships to roman and greek foot soldiers, steampunk communities, furry communities, a ice hockey league, hang gliders, clubbing and life music scene, lame family roleplay, motorcycle and car racers … everything.

I figured it was something like that. I wasn’t passing judgement, only expressing my surprise that it I stumbled onto it. I frequently scour wordpress to find new ideas and info for my stories. I love it. I hope it picks back up for yall!
