Sorry that i missed last two weeks, but i was really busy with painting the new Bandit 22LTE. Now as all calms down a bit i have some minutes.
At yesterdays race Sanja, Lucy, Nicole and Isa (for the first time) joined me at the races. On the dock we had Ray to watch the races.
The weather was actually pretty calm, only poor Lucy crashed in first race and lost control in second race which she never got back
Sanja and Isa started brilliant in first race. We others followed with some social distance. I tried to catcht up with Sanja and Isa and was good on my way until Nicole and i desided to cuddle a bit and i went additional swimming. That meant to start the chase for the two hotties in the front again. I could pass Isa at the last buoy and Sanja just on the finishline… Really exciting finish for both of us.
Second race was a little more relaxed. The fleet was nicely together until the first buoy and started then to spread out a bit. This stayed until the finish.

Hmm … thinking about joining you lot … naaw. I had my fair share of windsurf regattas as a youngling and it’s … just not right somehow. Fortunately the Hawaiians invented funboards and the sport turned away from boring course races into more freestyle waveriding and jumping competitions. And the coolest surfers stopped being competitive anyway and went instead looking for the ***Perfect Wave*** and the whole mindset of windsurfers became more like that of real surfers. Relaaaax man, and hang loose. 😉

every sport is changing after a while in rl. But this is different. For all who sail a lot all kind of boats this is something really different. And our races arent just sailing a boring course. They are different every week and the more the sailors improve the more exciting the races become every week… But hey i can lead a Donkey to the water, but cant make him drink…winks…
