Oh yikes! 😮
But let’s start with the beginning, The Start so to say …
In order to a) avoid adding to the general lag and b) signal to the merchants that I might be game to purchase the one or other new wig, I boldly go bald.
The Landing Point is at the orientation and welcome area of the Hair Fair sims. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
Exile is one of the many booths with rather typical feminine hair on show.
This booth stood out because of its styling. Hairs didn’t stand out in any way tho.
Some Japanese wigmaker. Contrary to their often very quirky hairstyles this one was rather focused on everyday hairdos.
Dunno about you but I can remember a time when hair models had to have beautiful faces. Geez, I’m old it seems.
Watz dat den? Let’s look like our grannies, or what?
Ever since Wasabi Pills started wigmaking in SL they never failed to disapppoint. 😦
Colourful, creative and semi-daring. But sorry, no hair for me.
Unconventional Hairs for the Unconventionals at the booth of .shi I took demos of both styles and maybe show them laterz. Guess I prefer the left one … but let’s see.
[KoKoLoReS] was the only other hair salon where I took some demos. Actually of all the styles except one. Can you guess which?
Now that is either daring … or super lazy. 😮 The doors to Elikatira’s booth were closed and inside only this Logo poster was on exhibition.
I kinda liked Lovey Dovey’s wannabe creative hairstyling. Stil too long and fashionable for Orca’s special taste.
Didn’t know one has to be super boring to become an ItGirls. Or did they in fact mean IT like in Information Technology and the looks aren’t entirely as important as the code these girls produce for the next Linux Kernel.
Unorthodox = unpretty?
Low Rendering Cost and Adequate LOD. Wow, hairstyles for sailing, flying, motorbiking action girls are still a thing!
Some nice and typically humble hairstyles by ASO! The Japanese are also making the mostest cutest faces.
Some interesting styles from this maker. Unfortunately none of them was totally convincing.
“I see colours!” she gasped, then suffered a stroke and died. 😦
Sign o’ the Times: Logo and design becoming more important than the product.
Package over content also in this booth of remarkably terrible hairs. 😮
At least one of the exhibiting wigmakers cares about the period perfect hairstyles for roleplay. That’s almost like in the old times, back when SL was still good.
Not much joy at the HairFair 2018 for Orcsy. But at least she grabbed a pretty nice freebie hair from ASO! I can really recommend it. Size changing via menu and a hud with more colours to choose from than you can shake a stick at.
Okeee, that was not what I had hoped for. Really thought I’d come out of the fair with dozens of new jetfighter hairstyles for me but all I could find for my special case was some demos and one freebie hair.
But I rather like that one. Is this ducking, invisible, no risk lifestyle really what we can expect of the second and upcoming third decade of the 21st century?
