Haruka & Ricky’s Paradise Onsen

… or “It could’ve been so nice”. You’ll see what I mean in just a minute.

Landing point at Haruka & Ricky’s is in the yard of a kinda “temple”? It’s all very grand and nice and traditional. Orca is of course too stupid to look for a TP but decides to snoop around the sim, soak it all up and find the onsen on her own.

Somewhere down there I’m supposed to find the reason for my being here, the onsen. Because: “Our Japanese sim for females only and couples. No Single Men! Japanese Village, Great nature, Nice places to relax, cuddle, kiss, love and dance. Try our beautiful Onsen! Come alone or with a friend. Enjoy the good music.”

It’s gotta be said, the sim is indeed rather nicely landscaped and well worth a visit. Even if you don’t wanna get wet.

Whoa! Always a joy to stumble about one of Carrah Rossini’s old airships. Remember in the good old days before mesh n stuff her Shit was the bestest! Needless to say Orca’s got all of Carrah’s airships and some of her buildings as well.

Then finally I find the promised onsen! Of course I only remember now to switch to the sim’s windlight and make a TP directly to the onsen.

Totally outdated poseballs littering the otherwise exceptionally well done setting of this outdoor hot spring bath!

Even worse, the very few single poseballs are all the fukn same! 😦 They resemble a sunbathing anim more than a soaking in hot bath anim. :/

Cool hot little lagoon. Although I doubt those waterfalls are made from hot lava water springs, we don’t wanna be too nitpicky.

CONCLUSION:

Not a high GOKURAKU rating from me. 😦

I didn’t mind the absence of traditional onsen stuff at Haruka & Ricky’s so much, as this is a natural hot spring and you can just jump in, soak and make out with your partner, without the need for onsen etiquette and showers n shit. What pissed me off more than just a little was the overabundance of clearly visible, non-hidden outdated poseballs and the general lack of nice anims. The onsen part of the sim has obviously been neglected for quite a long time by now.

This is a wasted chance if there ever was one: Traditional Japanese sim, nice builds, very nice landscaping, beautifully made, secluded natural outdoor hotspring setting. This could easily have been one of my favourite onsens on the grid. But … THOSE FUKN BALLS! 😮
