Let me just say this: This movie, no matter how generally beloved it is, shocked me. And it rendered me speechless. Even worse, it killed my will to say anything about it. Don’t get me wrong, there would be a hellalot to say about Thor: Ragnarok … if it wouldn’t have numbed my mind so badly. Even to a point that I disliked all the points the famous reviewers love about it!
Yes, it was colourful. Yes, it had some lame-ass humour. Yes, the cast was great and they all did their best. Special effects were great as well.
And that’s it. At least for your editrix that was all she liked. Maybe I’m just too old for this shit? Maybe my expectations are too high. Maybe I expect to see a good story, so no wonder I was disappointed. And so bored I started to snore at roundabout 40 minutes in … and had to rewatch it all today. 😮
Anyhoo, enuff of that. I hope everybody had their fun with the Ragnarok. Can we go back to some real filmmaking now and have some more human heroes apart from all the gods and aliens, pleez?
