NaNoWriMo Starts Today!

Heyyy!

Logo_of_National_Novel_Writing_MonthJust a reminder for all you wonderful creative peeps out there: The National Novel Writing Month starts today. No time to waste anymore. If your planning phase is still not over, now it’s too late to sketch out characters and story arcs and fill out plotholes; now it’s time to put pen to paper or fingers on the keyboard … and produce The Magic! At least 1,667 words/day for the next 30 days. It’s doable, comfortably doable. Once you’re feeling the flow, once you’re in the zone you wouldn’t wanna stop at a measly 1,667 lousy words. Maybe make a tea break then but not stopping for the day. There is no rule telling you to stop at a certain point!

At my locale it’s already 05:37 A.M., which means more than 5 hours have already gone to waste with no productivity, nothing to show!!! šŸ˜® Oh my, if I were to participate in the NaNoWriMo I’d be soooo worried right now. Teehee. šŸ™‚

NaNoWriMo is a good excuse for almost everything, be it lack in personal hygiene, unhealthy diet, neglect of family and supposed loved ones, forgetting to pay the rent, almost everything goes. But what you shan’t do is forgetting to check in on Orca’s little helpful bloggy! Pleez. Your editrix is also productive, and busy writing, you know.

And LibreOffice Writer tells me this was already 222 words. And now it’sĀ  22 more. See how fast it goes? No problemo. šŸ™‚

    • Ya. Please excuse my bumpy English. I meant the time more organised writers are using to invent a storyline, characterize their protas and antas, the perspective of the narration, the way they wanna tell the story … all those things.
