Being sick kinda sucks. Everybody knows that. Because you feel sick and ill and not very well and you’ve gotta stay at home instead of being your usual productive work drone in some office. Being sick in America sucks even more, since they don’t have a real universal healthcare insurance system. It means you may even have 2 or 3 jobs in the USA but no health insurance to speak off. This is usually unthinkable and unacceptable in our modern civilized society, isn’t it?
Obviously not in the USA. And there, despite the health system’s shortcomings some politicians are even trying to sabotage the little that is there even more. Verbal gems like
“Nobody dies because they don’t have access to health care.”
are a cruel reality in that country. Believe it or not. Does that halfwit really not know why tf health insurances were invented? Guess. Yeah, so people won’t die from every little shit infection or ding on the head or bullet to the heart. Simple concept, is it not? As we’ve just seen it is a concept too hard to grasp for some politicians. Sheesh. 😦
