Is This Gonna Be a Bad Day?

All the evidence points in that direction. After a night of rain and thunderstorms I woke up to heavy rains and grey skies and unseasonal cold. We’re in the middle of summer here in the southern hemisphere ffs. So what is this, some conspiracy by president Trump?

Anyway, in order to lift my mod I followed a hint by Inara Pey and visited Sol Farm, a nice simwide rural build … only to discover my viewer refuses to save any snapshots. 😮 WTF??? According to my already lousy mood and my natural lazyness I couldn’t be bothered to do some research into Singularity’s failure, and logging in on FireStorm with all its bells n whistles was way too much effort for me.

We love beaches, don’t we?

So I resorted to taking just some screenshots of my whole computer screen …

Does this remind me on some or the other A.M. Radio build from back in the day?

Oh yes, in my own stupidity I’m kinda clever and avoid labour wherever possible. And fuk the pretty unsightly result. 😉

I love pathes less travelled

Anyway, wow, what  a nice sim this is. Rural, lonesome, a dead dancing club at the edge of nowhere, empty dirtroads, empty buildings, kinda postapocalyptic, sad. Great work by the terraformers and landscaping artists. I can surely recommend Sol Farm as a place to explore and as photo location for your fashion blog or whatever.

We’re in Dutchieland all of a sudden?

Whoa, in RL the sky’s cleared up now, sun is fighting its way through, and it looks like it still could become a sunny summer’s day. \o/ Yay, shopping spree! \o/ So excuse me now for a couple hours please …

    • Ain’t the movement controls, hun, but the camera controls. While I’m absolutely capable of moving my avie with the arrow keys, I never cared to learn and remember the far less important shortcuts for camera control which I can operate far quicker with the mouse anyway. It might not be ideal and absolutely ungeeky and dorky but that’s what I’m used to.

I also have to admit that I operate my pretty modern Linux OS in the same way like I used Windows 3.1 in the early 90s. :/

      I’m not a girlgeek at all. =^.^=
