AMD, right now – and since quite a while – is the preferred CPU version since they have very good onboard graphics, which make them even decent gaming computers.

  1. Too much throttling going on for me. Still they are nice, and as you have shown here they can easily handle average workloads and more. I don’t care for AMD, but their on board Graphics is definitely than Intel’s—last time I tested.

    Right now, I have been converting my DVDs & Blu-rays to MP4, using paid EasyFab for conversion, and then reducing size with free HandBrake. The AMD computer (now in the shed) never worked right with my Samsung TV, so ‘Frank‘ now handles my media library. A total novice at this, but so far things are moving along just great—am finishing up converting season 8 Game of Thrones to MP4 right now. Using KODI (free and open-source media player) as the “media center and entertainment hub” and it has been easy to use for a novice like me.

    • Yeah, I’ve seen various skater turtle videos. One thing they all have in common is the playfulness of the turtle, always trying to get close to scaredy cat. Never knew a reptile brain had capacity for naughtyness.

        • Yes, according to JP the dinos are kinda smart-ish, which is, as everyone knows, total BS. I’ve heard some of them, brontosaurus for example, left the job to move his hind legs to the lower spine, since his walnut-sized brain couldn’t cop with four extremities.
